Introduction to Mold Making - One Day Event

In this one day introductory workshop you will learn how to make a slip cast ceramic mold from plaster. This workshop is intended to provide you with the basic techniques you will need to make a two part plaster mold for ceramic slip casting including checking for undercuts, using cottle boards and other forms, and measuring, mixing and pouring plaster.No previous experience in mold making or ceramics is required. We will provide a simple master object for your use. At the end of the workshop you will have a functional two part mold for ceramic slip casting. Class fee includes all supplies.
